Analytics Specialist
Tasks:
Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
Gather, analyze, and interpret data using statistical tools and software.
Design and create data reports and reporting tools to help business executives in their decision-making.
Perform data mining and data auditing to identify trends, patterns, and insights within the data.
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to implement and integrate new analytics technologies or techniques.
Monitor and audit data quality, ensuring compliance with data governance and standards.
Communicate analytical insights through sophisticated visualization and clear, concise reporting.
Analytics Specialist
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a data analytics role or related field.
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field.
Experience in working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Adept at report writing and presenting findings.
Proficiency in one or more analytics tools or languages (e.g., R, Python, Tableau, Power BI).
