Back-End Developer

Tasks:

Design and implement server-side logic defining the behavior of the web services.
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Develop and maintain web services APIs for client-side applications.
Manage the interchange of data between servers and users.
Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
Implement security and data protection solutions.
Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
Design and implement data storage solutions.
Troubleshoot and debug applications.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to improve the product.

Back-End Developer

Qualifications:

Proficiency in server-side programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .NET).
Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache) and UI/UX design.
Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
Excellent project and time management skills.
Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently or with a group.
Willingness to sit at a desk for extended periods.
Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, CSS) is often required as well.
