Leasing Consultant

Tasks:

Greet prospective tenants and show available properties, including apartments, commercial spaces, or homes.
Explain rental terms, policies, and procedures to potential tenants.
Assist in completing lease applications, negotiate leasing terms, and complete lease agreements.
Conduct credit checks and reference checks for prospective tenants.
Coordinate and schedule property viewings, move-ins, and move-outs.
Address and resolve tenant concerns and inquiries promptly.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of property features, leasing rates, and market trends.
Organize and execute marketing and advertising campaigns for rental properties.
Collect security deposits, rent payments, and fees as required.
Prepare regular reports on leasing activity, occupancy rates, renewals, and terminations.

Leasing Consultant

Qualifications:

Experience in sales, customer service, or real estate preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with potential tenants and clients.
Ability to negotiate leasing terms and close deals effectively.
Knowledge of leasing practices and residential property law.
Proficiency in office software, including property management systems.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Excellent marketing and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, marketing, or related field preferred.
Real estate license or willingness to obtain a leasing agent license if required by state law.
