Live Chat Agent

Tasks:

  • Respond to customer inquiries in real-time via live chat platforms.
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers.
  • Guide customers through troubleshooting processes or service information.
  • Upsell or cross-sell products and services, where appropriate.
  • Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.

Live Chat Agent

Qualifications:

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative, particularly in a live chat or high-volume interaction environment.
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
  • Familiarity with various chat platforms (Intercom, LiveChat, Zendesk Chat, etc.).
  • Proficiency in English, additional language is a plus.
